Level 1
Foundation

The Foundation level has been designed to introduce you to conditioning exercises and we recommend that everyone starts at this level.

The conditioning exercises will require the body to recruit specific muscle groups which you may not already be using, even if you are already exercising, it is unlikely that you will be utilising the muscles targeted in the RiderCise Programmes. It is important to gradually introduce you to this type of training as remember, you need to be able to function still, live life and ride your horse(s).

The 8 week programme is progressive, meaning that as the weeks go on, the exercises remain the same for each of the programme but the number of repetitions, sets and time of the exercise increases. This ensures that you have a training overload which is required in order for the body to make adaptions.

The Foundation level is completed 3 x per week and includes stretches after each session. It is estimated that it should take around 15 minutes to complete each session. The workouts are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday and Friday but you have the ability to move the workouts to the days that suit you best.

There is no equipment needed for the Foundation level.

Level 2
Intermediate

The Intermediate level has been designed to develop on the Foundation skills that you have developed but with the addition of a Wobble Cushion to increase the intensity and difficulty of the exercise and challenge the recruited muscles further.

The 8 week programme remains progressive, meaning that as the weeks go on, the exercises remain the same for each of the programme but the number of repetitions, sets and time of the exercise increases. This ensures that you have a training overload which is required in order for the body to make adaptions.

The Intermediate level is completed 4 x per week and includes stretches after each session. It is estimated that it should take around 20 minutes to complete each session. The workouts are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday but you have the ability to move the workouts to the days that suit you best.

Level 3
Advanced

The Advanced level is intense and will challenge your Intermediate skills that you have developed and will take your Cardio, Strength, Mobility and Agility ability to the highest level.

The 8 week programme provides different sets of exercises for each of the 4 days but the exercise progress in intensity as the weeks go on. This ensures that you have a training overload which is required in order for the body to make adaptions.

The Advanced level is completed 4 x per week and includes stretches after each session. It is estimated that it should take around 30 minutes to complete each session. The workouts are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday but you have the ability to move the workouts to the days that suit you best.

For the Advanced level, you will need a Gym Ball and a Wobble Cushion. You can buy these online from places such as Amazon or Ebay and they are relatively cheap from £4-12 per item. You will also need a Kettle Bell, we suggest two of different weights and recommend a 6kg and 10kg. These can also easily be purchased online.

The Complete
Programme

You have the option to buy all 3 levels – Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced as a Complete Programme.

Over the 16 weeks, as with the individual levels, the programmes are progressive and at the end of each level, you will move on to the next level.

Tailored Bespoke
Programmes

If you are looking for a programme specific to your needs, current level or goals, would like full support from Clare during your programme then we suggest a Tailored Bespoke programme.

Tailored Bespoke programmes are ideal for those who may have limitations in the exercises they can do, have  a short or long term goal, want to be accountable to a coach and have regular check-ins and updates. An initial consultation will be held before the programme starts and changes to the programme, if needed, are included in the price.

There is also the option to add nutritional support.
